Cowboys-Bengals GFFL Effect

In the boring preseason month when I get a chance I'll throw together a little article showing what I learned from the game. Although it's dangerous reading too much into preseason you can learn a bit and I've got nothing else to do so why the heck not.

Terrell Owens, Kings and Chad Ochocinco, I.Classics - TO was targetted 4 times while Ocho was targetted only once. Could the batman robin talk be for real? Could Owens be the WR1 on this team? Honestly I don't know on this one what I see happening with this situation is TO and Ocho eat into each others stats and come close to a fair split making them both low end WR2s in fantasy..good for Owens owners bad for Ocho owners. Palmer and Cincy's weak pass protection will keep the Bengals arial attack from being good enough to have a top 10 passing attack.

Felix Jones, I.Classics and Marion Barber, Ducks - Looks a lot like a full RBBC maybe even including Tashard Choice. Felix still a homerun threat but both him and Barber look like RB3's/Flex options. Barber definitely looks like the goaline back Felix's fumble sure didn't help. Choice looks like a guy who could carry the load if given the opportunity too bad.

Tony Romo, U.Gators and Miles Austin, W.Dogz - The Cowboys connection looked pretty good other than a few errant throws from Romo and one drop by Austin. As much as I can tell from limited action the Cowboys offense should be potent unfortunately with Dez coming off injury he'll probably be eased in the offense meaning Bust Roy Williams will get one last shot. Romo is a definite QB1 and I think Austin is a very legitimate WR1. As much as I hate Dallas they're gonna be very good this year.

In other news Ahmad Bradshaw is taking the vast majority of 1st team carries with New York and Jacobs is rumored to be pushed to 3rd down and Goaline roles lowering his value substantially.

The Revis hold out looks like it could last a while all AFC East receivers get a slight bump with the chance they won't be stranded on Revis island twice this year.
