It wasn't that tough of a decision. The Pirates (better than they were last year) lack a true proven difference making stud (although I love Dez Bryant and see a lot of Randy Moss in him) but even if Dez does break out the rest of the team will make this a cellar dweller. I do think Vogler is doing a good job rebuilding this team though going into 2012 both Dez and Maclin will probably be looked at as WR1's and then keeping Romo to solidify the quarterback position if he has a good draft (which should feature a top 3 pick in the draft) he will be ready to get the Pirates on the verge of playoff contention.
2011 could be a good year but he plays in the highly competitive eastern division and his runningbacks are a pair of HB3's and his flex position is terrible. I do believe that he is one runningback stud away from being a serious playoff spot contender so if he finds the Peyton Hillis of 2011 on the waiver wire then all bets are off. Realistically expect Vogler to make his rise in 2012.
