Can Cam Newton lead the Ducks to a shocking upset?
6. Ducks (6-7-1) AT 3. Classics (9-5)
QB Newton QB Brady
HB Peterson HB Foster
HB McGahee HB Jones-Drew
HB/WR M.Barber HB/WR S.Jackson
WR Cruz WR Fitzgerald
WR D.Thomas WR Harvin
TE Gronkowski TE Hernandez
I honestly think this is going to be a very close game as long as Peterson is back, and he should be. Peterson back means less production for Harvin and SJAX is going against a tough Cincy D that just got done holding Foster to 5 fantasy points. MJD is going against an Atlanta team that will be ahead early and should limit his scoring potential while Newton can easily score with Brady or even more than Brady. It's a very scary match up for the Classics who probably wish the Pirates were down at the 6 seed or really anybody but these Ducks. This is the most talented 6 seed there's ever been with four gamebreaker players (Newton,Peterson,Cruz, and Gronk). The Classics do have Foster against Carolina though so I'll take the Classics in a tight one something like 102-100
5. Pirates (9-5) AT 4. Kings (10-4)
QB Romo QB E.Manning
HB Greene HB C.Johnson
HB Tomlinson HB Spiller
HB/WR Meachem HB/WR Jacobs
WR D.Bryant WR Welker
WR Maclin WR AJ Green
TE Gonzalez TE Gates
If the Kings were healthy this game would scream blow out, and even though they aren't it probably still will be. It's a lucky match up for both teams as the Kings get to go against a squad that talent wise shouldn't even be here (especially without Murray) and the Pirates get to go against a Kings team decimated by injuries (FJAX,McFadden,A.Johnson). If the Kings were healthy they'd honestly be my pick to win it all easily but without those players they are a pretty good but far from great team. It's not out of the realm of possibility for the Kings to be beaten if CJ puts up a stinker like he's prone to do and the Ravens hold Gates in check then the teams match up a lot closer but I think I'll trust Chris Johnson against a crappy Indy team the second time around. I'll take Kings in a closer than expected but still a significant win something like 93-75
